The Retro 101 team consists of the following people-

The Founders-

TubarosToby Lethby (Tubaros)- Writer/Technical Genie

Profile: Toby is passionate about all areas of gaming like the industry, the technology and, of course, the games. Having been into games since the age of 9 from a lowly ZX81, through the 8bit, 16 bit, 32 bit eras and onwards youll find him playing 16/32/64 bit games on emulators, point and click games on scummvm, and various current PC games, such as DoD and CS:Source and Team Fortress 2. Also runs the website for an online AV company selling home theatre.

Retro GhostGareth Chappell (Retro Ghost)- Writer/Editor

Profile- Gareth refuses to believe that the new generation of consoles is anything more than a passing phase (and that one day we will all return to the good old days of gaming). Gareth spends his days watching Jackie Chan films and waiting for the next Castlevania game to come out. Fascinated by Transformers, Trap Door and many other things frowned upon in a fashionable society, he somehow managed to get himself a degree in Film and English studies and a Masters degree in Professional Writing. Gareth can also be found on gamestyle.com as their retro section editor.

Contributors-

Weapon XDan Gill (Weapon X)- Writer

Profile- Dan’s love affair with games started at the age of four with a Commodore 16 which was crammed into his Christmas stocking. As the years passed, his collection and obsession have grown to levels which would be deemed unhealthy by “regular” people. To counteract his nerdy image he learnt guitar, began drinking, left the house once in a while and tricked women into dating him. He can often be found watching films with guns, subtitles or Rodney Dangerfield, writing for Gamestyle.com and trying to convert Stars into Wii Points.
